IELTS Line Graph Yazma Rehberi

IELTS Writing Task 1’de line graph (çizgi grafiği) yazarken dikkat etmen gereken bazı önemli noktalar var. İşte adım adım bir rehber:

1. Giriş Paragrafı (Introduction):
   • Grafikteki temel bilgileri ve neyi göstereceğini özetle.
   • Örnek: “The line graph illustrates the changes in the number of people visiting a museum from January to December.”
2. Özet Paragrafı (Overview):
   • Grafikteki genel eğilimleri ve en belirgin özellikleri açıkla.
   • Örnek: “Overall, the number of visitors experienced a significant increase during the summer months, peaking in August before declining in the winter.”
3. Detaylı Paragraflar (Body Paragraphs):
   • Grafikteki ana noktaları ayrıntılı bir şekilde açıkla. Verileri karşılaştır ve önemli değişiklikleri belirt.
   • Genellikle iki paragraf halinde yapılandırılır:
     • İlk paragrafta genel eğilimler, artışlar veya azalmalar üzerinde dur.
     • İkinci paragrafta ise spesifik detayları ve belirli noktaları ele al.
4. Veri Karşılaştırması:
   • Belirli tarihleri veya dönemleri karşılaştırarak verileri sun.
   • Örnek: “In January, the number of visitors was around 500, but this figure rose steadily throughout the year, reaching 1,200 in August.”
5. Sonuç (Conclusion):
   • Çizgi grafiğinde belirgin olan genel eğilimleri ve önemli noktaları tekrar et.

Örnek Cevap

Giriş: The line graph shows the number of tourists visiting a cultural center from January to December in a given year.

Özet: Overall, the number of visitors increased throughout the year, peaking in August and declining sharply in December.

Detaylı Paragraf 1: Initially, the number of visitors was relatively low in January, at around 400. From March onwards, there was a gradual increase, with numbers reaching 800 by June.

Detaylı Paragraf 2: The number of visitors peaked in August at approximately 1,500. After this peak, there was a noticeable drop, with figures falling to about 500 in December.
